Courtyard with fountain for ablutions of Mohammed Ali Mosque. The clock was a presnt from king Louis-Philippe of France to Mohammed Ali Pasha in the year 1845. In return France received the Obelisk at Place de La Concorde in Paris. Helas, the clock never worked.
